Miriam Jacobs

I created a challenge for myself: come up with an idea for a series.  I have worked in serial form in two dimensions, but this would be the first time doing so in three dimensions.  I have always loved circles and squares (who doesn't, really?) and decided to see how many ways I could interpret what a square was.  This sculpture was one of about ten pieces in the series, seven of which are shown below.
