Ancient Turtle II
I have always loved drawing animals. In art school, (burying my conflicted thoughts about zoos), I visited New York City's Bronx Zoo several times. That was a long time ago, and the exhibits have now changed, making it a bit harder to get close and see the animals the way I like. As an alternative, I started looking in books for images of animals created in ancient times by people from all over the world.
